Grace United Methodist Church supports the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry as part of our shared calling to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Working alongside other local churches, we help provide food assistance to individuals and families in Story City, Roland, and Gilbert, responding to human need with compassion and care.

Loaves and Fishes is an entirely volunteer-run ministry, sustained through the generosity of community donations and partnerships with the Food Bank of Iowa and local businesses. The pantry is open every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon, and guests may receive food up to two Saturdays per month.

At Grace, we understand disciple-making as both faith and action. By serving, giving, and working together in ministries like Loaves and Fishes, we seek to reflect Christ’s love in practical ways. Non-perishable food donations may be dropped off at any time in the shopping cart located in the narthex of the church.
